Our Story

Exuma Beach Resort sits on Elizabeth Harbour, on Queen’s Highway near George Town, Great Exuma — a short hop from Exuma International (GGT), with harbour views toward Stocking Island.
For years this shoreline welcomed guests as Coconut Cove Hotel, a small waterside inn travelers knew as early as the early 2000s. Around late 2011 the property went quiet. In 2012 it was purchased and renovated, then reopened in January 2013 as Exuma Beach Resort — a boutique harbour hotel with an on-site gathering place that became Latitudes, the bar where locals and visitors shared the same stools, live music, and weekend energy.
Like many island hotels, operations closed in 2020. Today Exuma Beach Resort is under new ownership with a new family — the same shoreline, the same harbour light, cared for for the people who live here and the guests who find their way to Exuma. The interest list is open. Dock access is planned. Rooms and rates will follow when we are ready.
The story is still being written. If you knew this place before — as Coconut Cove, as Exuma Beach Resort, or as a night at Latitudes — we would love to hear from you at stay@exumabeachresort.com.
